History
Waratah was formed in 1996 by Michael O'Connell Ph.D., as a company focused on combining mathematical statistics and graphics, industrial-strength databases and web user interfaces for distributed statistical reporting solutions. From the outset, Waratah has specialized in data-intensive applications in fields such as health services, pharmaceuticals and genomics, and clickstream data.

Project history includes conversion of legacy system to Intranet, custom patient record systems, data mining and data warehouse systems, statistical algorithms, statistical software development and complete, Intranet and application service provider solutions. Waratah's client roster spans a spectrum of companies in medicine, healthcare, agriculture and market research - from Fortune 500 companies and major health-care institutions to small companies and recent start-ups.
